To help you make the most of your visit, here’s everything you need to know before you head to the cobbles, from booking your tickets and finding us to what to expect on the day and our top tips for a top tier visit.

How to Book Your Coronation Street Experience

The best way to start planning your visit is to book your tickets in advance. Availability can be limited, and our tours can sell out, so booking ahead is recommended to make sure you secure the date and time that works best for you.

There are three ways to discover the world of Coronation Street and experience Corrie’s behind-the-scenes secrets:

• Guided Tour - explore the real external Coronation Street set with an expert guide.
• Star Tour - enjoy the Coronation Street Guided Tour of the real external set along with the added excitement of meeting a mystery cast member.
• Exhibition - available midweek, with real props, costumes, and replica internal sets

Don’t forget, the Coronation Street Guided and Star Tours run during weekends only as we're a working set and the soap is being filmed during the week. For those who can’t make it over at the weekend, our exhibition is open for midweek visits where you’ll get to see real props, costumes and replica internal sets.

How to Get to the Coronation Street Experience

You’ll find the Coronation Street Experience at ITV Studios:

Travelling by tram is one of the easiest ways to get here from Manchester city centre. Simply head to the Imperial War Museum North tram stop, where you’ll find the entrance nearby, then look out for the Coronation Street Experience signage outside of our main entrance.

If you’re driving, there are nearby car parks, including the Imperial War Museum North car park. Parking charges apply, and it’s worth allowing plenty of time to park and make your way to the entrance.

What to Expect at the Coronation Street Experience

This is your chance to step into Weatherfield and see the real Coronation Street film set, there’s nothing quite like seeing the cobbles for yourself!

Our 90-minute Guided Tours take you along the famous cobbles and around some of the Street’s most recognisable locations, including the Rovers Return, Roy’s Rolls, The Kabin and the Police Station. Along the way, your guide will share behind the scenes stories and secrets about the show and the sets you’ll get to see.

And, of course, there are plenty of photo opportunities. From the iconic cobbles to recognisable locations such as Underworld and Webster’s Garage, you’ll have plenty of chances to capture that perfect selfie.

But the experience doesn’t stop outside. You can also explore the exhibition, which brings together decades of Coronation Street history through original props, costumes and memorabilia. There are replica sets to explore too, including Roy’s Rolls and the Rovers Return, giving you the chance to get even closer to the world of Corrie, and of course snap those insta-worthy pictures!

Before or after your tour, you can also take some time to browse the gift shop and pick up a Coronation Street souvenir to remember your day, or enjoy a drink or bite to eat at our on-site café.

Allow up to around 2.5 hours for the full experience, so you can enjoy everything without feeling rushed.
