Is the experience accessible to wheelchair users or guests with mobility needs?

Yes – The Coronation Street Experience is fully accessible, including the Visitor Centre and Exhibition area, located on the first floor, with access to a lift if required. The external street tour takes place on a working set, which includes cobbles, kerbs and uneven surfaces. Wheelchairs, mobility scooters, and walking aids are welcome, but due to safety regulations, we are limited to 1 wheelchair or mobility scooter user per tour.

If you have already booked and require wheelchair access, please ensure you have booked the appropriate ticket. If capacity has been exceeded, it may be necessary to adjust your tour time or reschedule your visit to another date or time. Please get in touch with us for assistance.

Yes, a printed script of the tour is available upon request. Please ask Admissions when you arrive.

Accessible toilets are available in the Visitor Centre before and after your tour. As the tour takes place on a live working set, there are no toilet facilities available while on the tour route. If a guest requires the facilities during the tour, they will need to be escorted off the set by a member of staff and may miss part of the experience.
